Closing Down

Regretfully, I have to give notice that SparseZone will cease to trade in six weeks' time.

For various reasons, personal and logistical, I can't continue hosting Solaris zones. Having refused new business for some months now, and discharged my duties, so to speak, towards annual customers, I'll be officially shutting down hosts shortly after 1st September.

If my records are correct, no customers are paid up beyond August. If you think that this is incorrect, please get in touch as soon as possible. Within reason — i.e. as long as no-one exceeds their caps or normal usage patterns — customers are welcome to keep using zones until the last. No further invoices will be issued.

For obvious reasons, I don't have experience of any other companies' zone hosting services, and I'm not in any position to offer any recommendations. It's some time since I Googled for the competition, but there were maybe half a dozen such offerings last time I did.
