Whether you need to send 10 messages out a week, or send and recieve thousands every day, we can provide the infrastructure for you. We are able to offer solutions for SMS, MMS, Ringtones and WAP Push, allowing you to send extended messages, flash messages, picture messages, multimedia, vCards, calendar entries, and operator logos to your clients. We are also able to provide delivery status reports for many of these message types.

With our expertise in creating bespoke solutions to mobile messaging problems, Mod3 are able to help you in making your dreams a reality. If, on the other hand, you're happy with writing your own application and just need an SMS gateway, we can offer a simple HTTP/HTTPS POST gateway, and hope to be able to offer an SMPP gateway in the near future.

Some projects Mod3 have been involved with so far:

• Text Message Advertising for Nightclubs

  Mod3 is currently involved in an advertising campaign in association with a nightclub promoter. Using opt-in lists of over 300 numbers obtained through the club websites, advertising SMS messages are sent out, featuring exclusive offers, discounted entry and information on special features happening that night. Returns of over 20% have been seen, as well as a greater brand recognition and ever-growing numbers of customers opting in.

• SMS-based Interactive Flirting

  We are also currently involved with the implementation of a project to provide a text-based "flirting" service in a nightclub. Upon entry, customers are given a numbered sticker which they register against their phone number via text. Then, people are able to communicate with each other by sending messages to a central number, prefixed with the number on the sticker of the intended recipient. As a result, people are able to SMS each other without ever revealing their mobile number to the other party, unless they choose to do so. This system also provides the ability to make announcements on a projected screen, and to block communication from certain users if desired.
